Prime Minister of Mongolia held a meeting with the delegates of Confederation of Mongolian Trade Union to express his commitment to support their work.
The first Prime Ministerial order he gave was on the trilateral co-operation between the government of Mongolia, the Confederation of Mongolian Trade Union and Labor Consensus from 2017 to 2018. In the framework of the order, agreement and the manifesto of Mongolian People’s Party, Prime Minister expressed his devotion to raise the average wage of the working class. In 2018, the government led under the jurisdiction of U.Khurelsukh raised the average wage by 16.6%.
Furthermore, by the end of this year, Prime Minister is planning to raise the average wage by 320 thousand Mongolian tugriks, and before next year’s election, the government will be intensely working to raise it by 420 thousand tugriks.
After receiving complaints about the policy on pension, the government decided to make it volatile: if a person seeks it necessary for his interest, he can receive his pension at the age of 55-60. The trilateral agreement’s functioning without any obstacles as of this day, the accomplishment of which is nearing 84%.
Confederation of Mongolian Trade Union expressed their thoughts on expanding the agreement from 2019 to 2020. In relation to their wishes, Prime Minister gave an order “Approval of the composition of the Government Representative”, in the framework of which the government will be establishing Secretariat dedicated to work.
Prime Minister highlighted the importance of co-operation between Mongolian peoples, the government and the Confederation of Mongolian Trade union, demanding to strengthen the responsibility among the working groups.
